Read Genesis 2:16-17
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Read Galatians 3:13
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Through the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (the first tree), man fell. Through the Cross (the second tree), man is redeemed through Christ. The first tree brought sin’s beginning and death. The second tree brought sin’s end and eternal life. Hallelujah for the Cross!
Prayer – Praise God for the salvation we have through Jesus Christ! Ask Him to help you make the Cross the center of your life. Live of its fruit!
