Harvest Baptist Church members and attendees were privileged to spend the week of February 28th through March 4th focused specifically on missions.
Matthew 28:19-20 was our theme passage as we addressed "Missions: The Church's Calling."
Dr. Steve Pettit, President of Bob Jones University presented the message in each of our main sessions. Presentations were also given by guest missionaries, including the Vanning's from Japan, and others from Southeast Asia.
Listeners were challenged in the areas of compassion, evangelism, and the outpouring of God's spirit.
We closed the conference on Sunday night with our International Banquet, which featured dishes from countries and cultures around the world.
The preaching of God's word and reports of His great commission work around the world helped to both broaden our perspective and narrow our focus. As our hearts were stirred for worldwide evangelism and minds were set again on helping people develop a heart for God on our own island.
