Day 19
Read Proverbs 10:2
2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.
Read Matthew 6:19-21
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
In my travels, I have experienced the frustration of not being able to use the currency from one country to buy something in another country. We are all leaving our earthly country for an Heavenly one. Our earthly possessions will be of no value there. So we must convert as much of our earthly currency to heavenly before we make the trip. How? By investing in the only two things that are eternal: the souls of men and the Word of God.
Prayer – Ask God to help you begin today to invest your time and treasure in that which is eternal.
