Read Proverbs 11:1
1 A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.
Read Proverbs 16:11
11 A just weight and balance are the Lord's: all the weights of the bag are his work.
Read Isaiah 5:20
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
An unjust weight redefines truth and reality. When a man re-defines his morality and values away from God, he becomes his own god. We must never change God’s truth to fit our will. We must change our will to fit God’s truth. We must never bend the Word of God to fit our life. We must bend our life to fit God’s Word.
Prayer – Ask God for the humility and strength to conform your life to His truth.
