What is PRCC?
Pacific Rim Christian Camp, a ministry of Harvest Baptist Church, reaches out to the island of Guam through a variety of camps. The first part of the summer consists of educational opportunities in a classroom setting as you assist in our Cool School program. You will lead, counsel, and interact with students from diverse backgrounds. You will also be given ministry opportunities in Harvest Baptist Church throughout the summer. These opportunities include teaching Sunday school classes, helping with our children’s ministry (C2C) and youth group (H4C), assisting with VBS, participating in music ministries, running games for church events, and more. During the latter part of the summer, you will be a vital part of our overnight camps as either a counselor or member of our program staff. During these two weeks, you will have the opportunity to counsel, disciple, and lead a cabin of campers.
What makes Guam different? Why should I choose PRCC?
Guam is a unique place with a family-centered culture and welcoming environment. You will make fun memories, experience new adventures, and form meaningful relationships. But the most important thing for you to know is that Guam desperately needs the Lord. The students and campers that you meet will come from a wide variety of backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to minister to children and teens by teaching them, counseling them, and building relationships with them. You will gain practical experience in a classroom setting, a church setting, and a camp setting. The most important thing that you will do as a team member this summer is share the Gospel and influence Guam for eternity.
