Missions Conference 2026

Dr. Chopo Mwanza was the speaker at our Missions Conference March 8-11 2026 teaching us how to Reach the lost and “let the Nations be glad”!

Chopo Grew up going to church and participated in a lot of church activities but always doubted the love of God. In 1998, someone shared from John 3 explaining what it means to be born again and the love of God in sending His son Jesus Chris to die and pay for the sins of men. For the first time in his life, Chopo realized that God loved him and He demonstrated His love for him by sending His Son to die for his sin. On that day, Chopo confessed his sins and trusteed in Christ for that forgiveness.

In 2005, he began having a strong desire to serve the Lord and enrolled in Central Africa Baptist University for theological training. In 2013, he joined the pastoral team at Faith Baptist Church Riverside, and in 2016 the church called him as their senior pastor. Since 2015 he has served at CABU and is now the President, designate.

Chop Mwanza is married to Kunda, and they are blessed with three children, Tionge, Yamikani and Tendai.
