Choose Patience

Day 36

Read Psalm 27: 13-14

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Waiting can be uncomfortable. Our selfishness dictates to us that we want life on our own terms. Therefore, patience requires surrender and trust. Because while we wait, God is doing something in us and others that is very important.

Prayer – I think it’s time to ask forgiveness for our lack of trust during the periods of waiting in our life. Ask God to teach you how to trust and wait and to give you the strength to do both.
